Kathleen Oravec M.A. I earned my M.A. in 2009 as a graduate of the University of San Francisco‘s Counseling Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Program. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have now been working for 4 years in private practice. I have also worked as a therapist for Sacramento County Mental Health as a clinician along with working in a private psychiatric facility handling intakes for individuals in crisis. I perform assessments for suicidality, drug and alcohol abuse, bipolar disorder and anxiety among other psychiatric illnesses. My role is to very quickly assess and identify what is going on with each person so that they can get the best help possible. Often I interface with their families in the intake process as well.
